Close an organization

Settings does not show a delete button. Closing an organization is an owner action on the account API. This page does not restate the privacy policy.

Steps

1. Read Privacy and Terms for what Pinhelm keeps and why.
2. If you are the owner and you close the organization, Pinhelm marks it closed.
3. A daily job can remove the organization's product data after 29 days.

Result

Until that purge runs, the closed organization is not a normal workspace. Billing records are handled as the privacy policy describes.

Tips

• The 29-day wait is the default retention period in the product. A deploy can set a different number.
• The purge can run as a dry run first. A dry run logs what it would delete and does not remove it.
