HelpSite Audit

Run a site audit

A finished audit shows a score and the top fixes.

Site Audit reads a public website and lists what to fix. It does not change the site.

Steps

  1. Open Site Audit. On Free you see a sample labelled Sample. There is no field for your own site.
  2. On Starter, Pro, Agency, or the Pro trial, confirm the website already saved on a tracked profile.
  3. If the profile has no website, the page says "Add a website to your profile first."
  4. The first audit starts as soon as you confirm. A progress line shows pages crawled against the plan limit.
  5. You can leave the page. The audit keeps going.

Result

A finished audit shows the site score, categories, and the top three fixes. The meter shows how many audits are used this month.

Tips

  • Starter includes 1 site, 4 audits a month, and 50 pages. Pro includes 10 sites, 50 audits, and 100 pages. Agency includes 40 sites, 200 audits, and 200 pages.
  • The Pro trial includes 1 site, 2 audits, and 25 pages.
  • A failed audit does not use one of the monthly audits. See Fix a failed audit.
  • The crawler identifies itself as PinhelmBot. See Allow our crawler.
