HelpSite Audit
Fix a failed audit
You know why the audit stopped and how to retry.
A failed audit stops before a score is saved. It does not use one of your monthly audits.
Steps
- Read the reason on the audit card.
- If the site did not respond, confirm the website is up, then choose Retry.
- If the address could not be crawled, use a public http or https website with no login in the URL.
- If the audit stopped before it finished, retry. You can leave the page while it runs.
- If the banner says "Update payment to run new audits," open the billing portal. History stays visible.
Result
A retry either finishes with a score or shows the same kind of reason again.
Tips
- "Add a website to your profile first" means the tracked profile has no website yet. See Run a site audit.
- The crawler has to be allowed. See Allow our crawler.
- AI recommendations are available only after the audit finishes.
